JOB OBJECTIVE:
To ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Sales Department by coordinate and cooperate within department and between departments to ensuring that achieve the expected TV sale targets and the safety of company’s property according to Company’s policies and procedures.
To assist the TV Sales Director with any issues related to the TV Sales Department.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set the TV sales targets, and elaborate specific programs.
• Develop and maintain the market agents.
• Implement the TV channel sale policy, and formulate promotion plan.
• Enlarge TV channel sales market and achieve expected TV sales targets.
• Keep good relationship with dealers, and resolve the problem customers faced, dealing with customers' complaints promptly, and collect market information.
• Feedback and handle the information of dealers.
• Analyze the information of dealers and market, and forecast market trends.
• Support work of delivery, goods provides, goods returning, payment collection, receipts, accountings checking, etc.
• Supervise and urge the subordinates achieve the TV sale targets individual, and submit the document in time.
• As a good teacher for the new staff, make sure the new staff can master the knowledge of products and sales skill in a short time; push the new staff to prepare the TV sales work within expected time.
• Responsible to organize and attend the training for new staff.
• Supervise your staff checking their sales records and payment on time, if there is any lost, report to Sales Director immediately.

• Has been doing sales for not less than five years working with TV selling companies.
• Ability to provide outstanding channel sales, corporation sales, and direct sales.

PROJECT OFFICER FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, NUTRITION AND WASH

Child Safeguarding:

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Project Officers will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the UNICEF funded Reproductive Health, Nutrition and WASH with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Revolutionary Government of  Zanzibar. The Project Officers will ensure high quality programming for Community Reproductive Health through working with Community health volunteers (CHV), Community Supervisors, Pregnant women, Care givers and Shehas of the Communities.   Under the supervision of the Programme manager and project officers will play leading role in coordinating the implementation of strategies to ensure proper and timely dissemination of Reproductive Health, Nutrition and WASH 
knowledge interventions. The Project Officers will work with the communities for fostering the reduction of Maternal and Newborn mortality rates while documenting the best practices & lessons learned. As part of the related activities of other programs/projects being implemented by Save the Children (SC in Zanzibar).  She/he is responsible to ensure that the delivery of the programs is in line with SCI’s Minimum Operating Standards, donor requirement and specific programmatic approaches designed by the Donor.

SCOPE OF ROLE:  The position is under the line management of the Programme manager and is directly reporting to this post. The Project Officers will work with the District Health Management Teams, Health Facility Staff,Nutrition Program  ,Health Promotion Units ,Community Health Volunteers with their Supervisors for the implementation of strategies to ensure proper and timely dissemination of Reproductive Health, Nutrition and WASH knowledge interventions. The Project Officers will work through organizational Visions, Missions, Values  Goals, Objectives and Strategies to reduce of Maternal and Newborn mortality rates.

Reports to:  Programme Manager  

Staff directly reporting to this post: RMCH facility focal person,Community Supervisors, Community Volunteers.

KEY  DUTIES &  RESPONSIBILITIES
-        Lead on the synergy and integration of sectors to enhance delivery of outstanding community empowerment for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Zanzibar

-     Foster the implementation of Community participatory interventions for Health and result based system that will generate timely information and feedback to project counterparts at all levels, and to management and donors

-     Lead the development of the Training and mentorship sessions under the UNICEF Health programme

-     Coordinating research aspects of the project including taking an active role in framing research questions and development, adaptation and testing of monitoring & evaluation and TORs

-     Develop and implement quarterly work plans for rolling out the community based interventions for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health  at program and field office level

-     Provide technical support to (Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) MEAL Coordinators on the implementation of M&E plan, Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) & Logical Framework

-     Support MEAL Coordinators to collect good quality monitoring data in a timely manner and collect / organize data received for reporting to the country office and area office

-     Closely work with the Zanzibar  based Child Protection programme staff on the roll-out of Maternal, New-born and Child Health services including WASH activities    

-     Provide technical support for the identification of appropriate learning sessions and their methods of tracking the impacts.

-     Compile and produce quality organizational reports as per the donor and partners requirements; documentation/sharing of success stories, best practices and lessons learned on a regular basis

-     Undertake field visit to monitor and supervise Community Health Volunteers and their supervisors in identifying bottlenecks, deliver mentorship and success stories

-     Supporting project teams to implement baseline, mid-term and final evaluations, as well as country-level data analysis and participate in formative & operation researches, joint projects monitoring and reviews / lessons learning workshops/events

-     Lead on accountability activities, including the development and use of information materials and the establishment of a pilot complaints response mechanism

-     Promote learning throughout the area office, particularly on issues of programme quality. Regularly produce and report on best practices and case studies

-     Work with /program manager or officers to document and share progress and achievements of the programs in the region

-     Perform other duties as and when delegated by the line manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

-     Bachelor degree in Medicine, Nursing Midwifery experience or related Degree in Health with Nutrition Component or equivalent to those.

-     At least 4 years experience of working in technical interventions for Community Health or Maternal, Newborn and Child Health. A solid experience in more than one of the Save the Children priority sectors: education, protection, rights governance, HIV/AIDS, Health and Nutrition, and emergencies will add an advantage.

-     Experience in implementing the for Community Reproductive Health programmes, Nutrition and or Water Sanitation and Hygiene Maternal, Newborn and Child Health , preferably in NGO setting

-     Knowledge and/or experience of working on accountability initiatives, such as child participation, information sharing and complaints response mechanisms.

-     MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Power Point, Spread sheets and other Statistical software

-     Ability and willingness to travel to field sites and work in remote locations, often for prolonged periods of time

-     Experience in and proven ability to support, train and mentor staff and partners in monitoring and evaluation methodology

-     Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching

LIVELIHOODS ADVISOR

ROLE PURPOSE: 
Save the Children seeks a Livelihoods Advisor for the anticipated USAID-funded Multi-sectoral Nutrition Activity in Tanzania. The Livelihoods Advisor will be responsible for the technical leadership designing and implementing strategies, programs or tools in livelihoods technical areas critical to affect nutritional change and increase household dietary diversity at household level, including adaptation for different regional contexts of Tanzania. The Advisor will provide technical advice based upon expertise and knowledge of evidence-based methods and strategies, current practice, and established operational and research standards to ensure quality and rigorous design. In addition, s/he will build capacity in country with field staff, and will continuously assess current technical, M&E, managerial and operational efficiencies at the program level as appropriate.

This position is contingent upon donor approval and funding.

SCOPE OF ROLE:
Save the Children has been operational in Tanzania since 1986 providing support to children through developmental and humanitarian relief programmes delivered in support of Government of Tanzania priorities and policies both directly and through local partners.  Current programming focuses on child protection, child rights governance, education, nutrition, HIV/TB and emergency response. In 2012, as part of a global reorganization process, Save the Children combined programmes of SCUK, SCUS, SC Sweden to create a single operation in Tanzania.  We currently have an operational presence in Dodoma, Shinyanga, Zanzibar, Songwe, Kigoma and Dar es Salaam and we work through partners in other parts of the country. We employ nearly 100 staff and have an annual operating budget of approximately $12 million.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Provide senior-level technical support for the overall integrated, cross-cutting strategic approach of the project including livelihoods, nutrition, food security, gender mainstreaming, and SBCC.
Lead the overall implementation of the integrated nutrition sensitive livelihoods activities in collaboration with project implementing partners and relevant line ministries.
Ensure strong multi sectoral coordination and engagement of the relevant ministries during implementation as well as the private sector
Represent SC in agriculture/livelihood technical working groups
Oversee and facilitate capacity building and mentorship initiatives with the project team, local government and program partners during project implementation
Provides guidance to ensure that program implementation adheres to appropriate technical standards and guidelines and that programs are technically sound.
Evaluate project development to ensure design is sound and based upon evidence- based practice.
Provide technical leadership by staying current of evolving global and regional standards, guidelines, and program developments in nutrition sensitive livelihoods and agriculture.
Responsible for leading the learning agenda under this component, sharing best practices in their field of expertise and contribute to the knowledge base through participation in scientific forums and technical networks 
Coordinate and work with a diverse group of organizations, such as; the Ministry of Agriculture, district agriculture staff, several international and national development partner organizations, and the USAID mission in order to complete work.

Bachelor’s degree in economics, agriculture, community development or social protection required, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of five years of experience in a leadership position responsible for developing livelihood interventions and the technical aspects related to the proposed strategy, including training in livelihoods and the household economic approach (HEA) to assessing malnutrition and poverty
Experience in projects promoting livelihoods interventions.
Understanding of child labor issues, including youth employment and improving household nutritional outcomes.
Experience working successfully with government agencies and private organizations engaged in promoting improved livelihoods for households and the provision of social protection services.
Experience working with employers' organizations, trade unions or other civil society organizations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Extensive experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa; work experience in Tanzania highly desirable.

DRIVER

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

ROLE PURPOSE: 
The driver is responsible for driving Save the Children staff adhering to Driver responsibility, guidelines, performing daily routine, maintenance, assist on logistics activities as assigned by line manager and always making sure the vehicle is clean and in good condition. It is essential that the driver at all times demonstrates reliability, punctuality and discipline while performing his/her duties, has good communication skills and the ability to work on her/his own initiative in a timely manner. Save the children expects all staff members to have a high degree of professionalism in the workplace and commitment to fulfilling the rights of children.

SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Procurement and supply chain officer.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
To drive Save the Children passengers within kigoma and out of kigoma as instructed by the line manager, take proper care of assigned vehicles and the safety of the passengers at all times.
Carry out routine vehicle maintenance checks on a daily basis to ensure proper upkeep of vehicles and immediately draw the attention of the line manager of any damage or fault on the vehicle.
Carry out weekly maintenance checks on SC vehicles which includes: suspension, engine, gear box, alarm system, vehicle tools, battery, locks, brakes, clutch fluid levels, loose nuts and bolts on the vehicle, unexpected noises,  fluid leaks under the vehicle and any damage to the body or interior parts.
Communicating with Procurement and supply chain team  in time on the expiration dates of periodic servicing and maintenance of the vehicle in line with manufactures recommendations and SC transport policies and procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness of SC vehicles at all times, both internally and externally.
Drive in a safe and reasonable manner following the standard speed limits set by SC at all times and report an accident at the earliest opportunity.
Complete the logbook on a daily basis as per the transport Management handbook.
Responsible in making sure SC vehicles are fuelled on half tank basis and every month end the tank is full before commencing the next months log book.
